Undergraduate
I graduated from Flushing High School in 2018, and accepted athletic and academic scholarships to Northwood University. Initially majoring in Entertainment, Sports, and Promotions Management, soon after changing it to my minor and making Marketing Communications my main focus. As a Freshman entering college I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life, and to some degree still think about the possibilities today. As an athlete I always loved seeing posts from other athletes around that I knew and what schools they were committing to. I quickly hopped on YouTube and began learning how to make these complex sports designs for my friends and myself.
As COVID progressed in the world, I soon found myself competing not on the track or soccer field, I was playing video games for money. Through the entirety of quarantine I began playing the well-known video game Call of Duty (Warzone) for cash prizes. Streaming, competing, and editing videos (TikToks, Twitter clips, & YouTube videos) the prizes only seemed to become larger (Upwards of $600,000). Playing tournaments with some of the biggest players in the world, from all over, not only built friendships for me, but gave me an insight into many different people's lives all over the world. As we returned to on-campus life I became a member of Northwood's Esport's team to compete in Call of Duty, where I still plan to compete until I graduate!
